Welcome new members!
As this site is officially "live" and off the ground as of a few days ago, I just wanted to extend a warm welcome to those who have already signed up or who are merely lurking and enjoying the Library contents. We hope to add more information as it becomes available to us, and if you have anything to share, please do!
So, welcome! This is a site made by singers, for singers. We believe that by studying the the roots and teachings of bel canto, we can greatly increase the quality of today's operatic singing and enrich the enjoyment of music in our own lives. We hope it becomes a major resource for singers, teachers, coaches and even opera snobs who share our unhealthy obsession for this beautiful art form :)
So relax, turn on some opera, read some of Lamperti's vocal insights, and post your thoughts on anything related to singing and music.

I see several comments in Russian. Looks like spam to me. The forum will not get off the ground if comments aren't monitored by an administrator.
