So funny

Haha, I love the collective intake of breath by the audience at 3:45 after Domingo sings "O cielo..."  And you know, the kid that he's teaching isn't half-bad.  His look and little shrug to the audience is so fricking funny to me.  He's like, "Well F***, what can ya do?" He's Domingo for god's sake"

Sometimes these old

Sometimes these old masterclasses are so depressing to me.  There are tons of singers that sound really good taking these classes... and where are they now?  I guess they never made 'big' careers.  I hope they're still singing, but some part of me always thinks "don't kid yourself..."  There but for the grace of god go I!

But at least if we flood the market with singers who know something about Bel Canto, we can have a generation of good singers again.  I mean, some of them HAVE to make it, no matter HOW bad administrators' ears are today!
